Come and join the group where you feel like you belong!

Minecraft Meets Social Skills is a new group for children ages 8-12 with an interest in Minecraft. The group will be run by Anne Iovanella, M.S. CCC-SLP, a licensed and ASHA certified speech-language pathologist with in-depth knowledge on social and pragmatic language.

Participant’s common interest in Minecraft will be used as the basis to practice and learn social and conversational skills. Topics may include: initiating and maintaining conversation, being an active listener, problem solving, perspective taking, understanding non-verbal language and the importance of being a flexible and cooperative group member.

Let’s get together and build social skills in a fun and comfortable environment!
